GLASS MET DESIGN... IN VENICE!
Over the course of 2023, Vetri Speciali took part at the third edition of the project “Glass and design” in collaboration with Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia (MUVE) and ISA Roma Design University; an extraordinary combination that opens up new possibilities to explore the potential of glass, design and sustainability.

Tradition and innovation collide in a distinct dialogue, focusing on the current sociocultural context. The goal is to give value to the culture of glass in all its forms while establishing a connection between museums, educational institutions and companies.
At the heart of this adventure, Vetri Speciali held an interesting workshop with lectures conducted by some of its experts such as Mr. Cristian Ambrosio, Product Development Manager and Mr. Mattia Antonazzo. They were both delighted to guide the students in a special visit at the Ormelle plant. At the end, the workshop gave the students the right inspiration to design some truly creative glass container.
Among the projects carried out, two were selected and sampled in the Ormelle plant for the "Glass and Design 2023" event which took place in the historic Fortuny Museum in Veniceduring Venice Glass Week 2023.
